studs and skulls on a student wage

Many celebs such as Pixie Geldof have been snapped sporting there studded leather jackets and looking amazing so as I am  I am 100% sure studs will be in for a while I've decided to create my OWN take on the this fab trend by customising my own shorts with some fantastic skull studs which I purchased from ebay ( £5 for around 50). I used some old shorts which I felt needed a revamp. They are easily put through the shorts as they are attached like paper fasteners making it super quick and easy! Many shorts on the high street can cost from £20 all the way up to £50. So if like me you are on a tight budget why not get yourself on ebay and buy some studs and create this look on your own . Saving money & no one will have the same ;)

STYLE ICON

My absolute style icon at this moment has to be Rita Ora , after seeing her at T in The Park I realised she could literally make a bin bag look amazing. One minute she'll be wear tiny shorts and a baseball top next a gorgeous floor length evening gown. Her very out there outfits make her ooze confidence which makes her even more gorgeous. Rihanna should be privileged to have such a gorgeous classy woman compared to her.I love her dress and hi-tops combination which is very similar to Lilly Allens style. I love how it can take a dress from evening to day with one quick change.

I also love the fact her style is so easily recreated with highstreet items for when you're on a tight budget . The items which I have chosen can be found on my last post.

summer has finally arrived in glasgow

Dress - Topshop
Waistcoat - Topshop
Shoes - Primark

Didn't have much time to get a picture of my outfit tonight as I was totally rushing to dry my hair so I'll blog about my outfit from Tuesday night when I went to nandos for a meal after our exam results had came through earlier that day. As the weather appears to have taken a turn for the better in Glasgow I decided it was time for the summer dresses to come out. Usually wear this dress with tights however it was absolutely to warm for that! Its so so summery with its cute floral pattern. My waistcoat was an absolute BARGAIN in the top shop January sale around 2 years ago. Defiantly one of my best investments as they have really came back into fashion this summer! Pretty sure i bought it for only £20 which is really a steal in topshop as they are usually around £45! Also a really thick denim which has kept well considering it's been used fairly a lot over the past two years! My trusty white plimsoles from primark which are surprisingly very clean for having them for around 2months! Always prefer to buy primark ones at £2 as they are so easily ruined and I don't ever feel guilty throwing them away :D!

please comment , follow & I'll follow back

frozen soup & a cocktail

So , around 5 weeks ago I decided after a good few years of careful consideration to go get my nose pierced ! Safe to say my mother wasn't too happy ... ANYWAY last night I decided to whack it out to try and clean it and couldn't get it back in :( :( So today I had to go back into the piercing shop to get it put back in , two piercers and multiple bars & hoops later I ended up having to get it re-pierced and am now sitting with frozen soup on my nose to take down the swelling :( . However today wasn't all pain had a lovely dinner and cocktail in TGI's with my 3 gals which was defiantly enough to cure my nose pain !
